Dropped on sportlines w/ views & pics
Alright so today i put some eibach sportlines on my car, for anyone who is considering to buy these springs, i highly suggest it. The install was very easy (took me about 30-45 mins) and very straightforward.
Ride hight: The ride hight on the car is noticeably lower, and the stance looks a lot more aggressive, the rear also looks leveled out to the front
Ride quality: These springs a a tad bid stiffer than stock, IMO gm should have made the cobalt to look and ride the way it does with the sportlines. Im not bottoming out, the car does not bounce. I took my gf for a ride and she noticed absolutley no difference in ride quality. The car rode nice when it was stock, but it rides a lot better with the springs.
Install: Very easy if you know what you are doing and have the right tools and a lift. It took me 30-45 mins to do the whole car (including a test drive). Eibach states you should trim the bump stops a little so i did. I would rate this install for a knowledgeable auto tech (like myself lol) at easy. but for a beginner or novice do it yourselfer i would rate it a meduim. The install can be done by yourself (i did mine by myself ), but if you have someone to help you it would be cool also.
Overall i am very impressed and highly satisfied with these springs, and im glad i bought them. I would reccomend them to anyone who is interested (the money is well worth it). I have yet to align the car (our alignment shop at work that we use was closed, the car is getting aligned tue when i go back to work when i get home from orlando, im not taking the car on the road trip lol). Hopefully my struts will hold up for a little while.
GF's 2006 Mazda 3s 2.3L (SLOW!!!!!!) I hate driving her car, it has absolutley no power lol. This is the car im driving on my road trip
