Dyno question
Ok just looking to get some guesstimates...I am going to the Dyno in Jacksonville friday and I am getting a tune from Torrie who supposedly is the best around tuning these SS'. I am running 60# injectors the stage 2 look-a-like 2.79" pulley Kand N intake, NGK cold plugs, and full ZZP header/ 3"DP combo and cat-back. What would you guess I will be putting to the ground?? Just for the fun cuz i have no idea what i will be putting down! Thanks everyone

Where are you getting it done at? HP Performance in Orange Park? Thats where I got mine done, by Torrie. Thats a dynojet but it seems to read a lot lower than every other dyno around here. Mine put down 237whp and 214wtq with 2.99 pulley, air box mod, 42lb Injectos, GMPP Honed Manifold, and GMPP Catback

Well its just when your draggin at the track, you get a lot of heat soak on the top end, the stock supercharger is notorious for that. A smaller pulley will create even more heat. Ralliartist put down a 13.6 quarter mile with just cooling mods. It helps a lot with your IAT2s. I think a few guys on here have lost piston 4 because of the excessive heat. Some one more versed in this Im sure will jump in and tell yah.
Do a little searching and youll find all sorts of ****.

straight cobalt meet or wat? Probably not I live about 2 hours out so one night I might check it out but probably not this evening. Def have to check it out one night though. You think I am going to have heating issues with the setup I am going to run? I dont want in anyway to have my motor shot because I am not running it cool enough. Please inform me lol

No, its not just Cobalts. There are Cavy's, Sunfire's, Cobalts, sometimes a Solstice GXP comes out. It's pretty much open to any GM car.
I think you should get at least a Cobra heat exchanger, I'm looking to get one for my car. With just the GM Stage 3 pulley, which is 2.99 inch, my IAT2 temps are above 150* at the top of 3rd gear. I can only imagine what your's will be like.
