Electrical Gremlins

So I got the dual gauge bezel from another member here so that I can mount my Wideband and Boost gauge in the dash so that I dont have a bunch of gauges running up the a-pillar . I put everything back together but when I put the top of the column plastic back on it was a bitch. Now I got a check engine light for P0128 - Coolent Temp below regulating temp) and P0013 - "B" camshaft position actuator, along with the yellow key & lock light and then the gauge cluster randomly loses power and comes back in less than a second. I am thinking while I manhandled the top of the column back on I might have pushed the harness out of the back of the gauges just enough to cause an intermittent problem.

Any ideas?

I didnt even finish hooking the gauges to power, only grounded, because I didnt have enough time before a family BBQ dinner.

I pulled the column back apart and noticed this part of the harness is not connected. Is this supposed to go to an option I do not have or is this why I am having my issues? It is REALLY hard to see in this picture but it is a green and brown wire leading to a black female two prong plug.

Did you disconnect the battery before messing with all this electrical stuff? You could have shorted something and popped a fuse or 2

I didnt mess with any electrical at all. I just added the bezel and took a wire from the gauge itself and grounded it. Thats it.

What would have popped if I am not getting a coolant reading?

All help is welcome

Anyone know what is supposed to show up next to the odometer on the DIC? I just show three dashes so my shiz look like

- - - * 118,746 Miles

Also my coolant temp is just - - - * and I cant figure out why. I do not have the gauge on off issue and the key/lock light has completely gone away... IDK wtf was going on but I need to just figure out the coolant issue

Outside temperature. The first thing i usually check when i have an issue are all the fuses with a test light. Takes like 3 minutes. You could have bumped something the wrong way or pinched a wire when you put your gauge pod on. Best to check the easy stuff first.

Like effing magic the coolant temp came back. It is working fine. I also do not have the key/lock light on anymore and the gauges are not freaking out on me anymore. The car never showed the outside temp since I owned it. Wonder if that is all connected and it just got worse and went back to almost normal.

I went through all the fuses under the hood and they are all good. Im sure there is another box in the car that I am yet to dig through.

Ill let you know what I discover.
