First trip in the SS
Just got back from a 1700 mile trip in the new SS. (oh what a trip)
Here are the facts...
averaged 30.5 mpg (not bad considered how fast i ws going at times).
averaged about 80 mph @3000 rpm
raced a WRX from 55 to 120 (walked him by about 5 car lengths)
raced a 2005 dodge 4x4 pickup with cummings turbo diesel (killed me off the line till about 50 mph (supprised me how fast it took off!! )
No problems what so ever except my ass and back hurts.
All i can say is that this is an awesome car!! Got alot of looks and does great on the highway with little road or wind noise. Tracks straight and climbs hills with the cruise on just fine.
If anyone cares...
Jeff
2005 Cobalt SS/SC
Victory red/red inserts, sunroof, now has 2400 miles (time for the first oil change).
