Cool a fond farewell and a happy ending!!

I would just like to find out how many of you future cobalt enthusiasts are somewhat glad/relieved that General Motors finally decided to fully join the race for the ultimate factory tuner, and get rid of the much beloved Z24. Although i will always love the j-body for it's many years of teenage enjoyment i am completley looking forward to enjoying " A NICE RIDE" in my later years<and to also kick some ricer and srt-4 ASS!> I also see that G.M. has begun to advertise the cobalt ss with the corvette on television in the u.s. what is the current e.t.a. for the american fleet because it gives us canadians a chance to anticipate its arrival.

I thank you for your input!

well, I'm not sure about toronto, but we've only seen G6's here for about 3 weeks; I wouldn't hold your breath.

The dealership I worked at has an orange G6 GT, ordered by another young salesman and I. They all laughed when we started ordering orange vehicles, but over the past 2 years no orange vehicle has sat on the lot for more then a month, and most are traded or sold before they even get to us... orange is still hot in BC!

PS. The orange G6 looks awesome... those are very nice cars.

I love orange vehicles.... it's bold, like yellow, yet not as obnoxious(more "adult" looking)... plus, it is still fairly rare.

You'll need a little bit of work before you can beat an SRT-4.

Not much, and if GM offers any kind of performance package, we’ll be set

You mean like the S1, 2, and 3 that Mopar offers for the SRT-4? S3 = 310WHP, 325Tourque and in High Octane Mode 355WHP and 365 Tourque?

http://www.mopar.com/street/products_srt4_stage3.htm

I'm not trying to stir anything up. I'm just not getting my hopes up bacause GM has really let me down in the past. I would like to get a cobalt SS, but I think I will wait until I see what kind of numbers these so called "bolt ons" are going to produce.
