Friend is Purchasing a Cobalt SS Today.
How much should he be paying for a a new 2007 off the lot? Is there anything he needs to look out for when purchasing a used 06 with low miles (10k). Any other tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Julian

Tell your friend to build his car on edmunds.com and print it out. Tell them you want THAT invoice price and wont pay a penny more. If they say theyll show it to you on their computer, there is about $500 added on in a advertisements/adjustments cost. One salesman told me they have to give that money to Chevy to pay for Chevy's tv ads
Got mine yesterday out the door for about 18,650 with G85 and 6 CD changer. I got 0% APR, 3k off in GM points, and a 1k rebate. MSRP was around 22500 and they gave me invoice price plus rebates, etc. I got an amazin deal with $500 down and $515 a month for 36 months. I had 9k saved up and now i get to use it for mods because of no interest

id do what polish paul said and if not... if he is looking for the performance and not so much the looks... look at 07 ion redlines... all the 07 redlines at the saturn dealer by my house go for 19770 fully loaded. only thing is.... i test drove one to kill sometime and it didnt seem as quick as my 06 balt.... ive heard that u dont get full boost until a certain amount of miles so that might have been the problem... beings the car only had 75 miles.... and here is another thing that boggled my mind... why were the 07s that much, but they had an 06 on the lot that didnt even have the big ass wing and they wanted 21 for it? i didnt ask... maybe it had mods...
