fuel types

I have searched and couldn't find what I'm looking for. Has anyone done a breakdown of all the different fuel types that we can use? Written pros and cons for each type. Also given hp numbers to be gained or lost for what is out there.

87,89,91,93
100
112
116
E85 (100-105)
Meth (108)
straight vs percentage mix

I know area did a dyno thread with meth vs e85
just looking for more info

Numbers in ( ) are Google searched

No one uses 87 or 89 here.

e47, e37, and other e blends.

I get what you mean, but there are so many factors it wouldn't be easy to do. May a Intro to fuel grades and types post would help, but there is no way to accurately indicated power.

I used a 110/93 blend in my car for my dyno run back in September. 299.45whp 242wtq.

110 is leaded, so I dont recommend it for anyone that still has a cat.

Ran the blend for a week after my dyno, with no issues. Granted I'm tuned for race gas.

The car pulled very strong with it and h.o.m engaged. Love it.

I just got some 112 and plan on running a mix of that and 100. In the summer of coarse. In the winter it will be 93.

Kinda similar to what I did....

The 112 will be leaded, so just make sure to keep an eye on your o2 readings, as the sensor might start to read slow from lead contamination.

I daily drove the car for a week with my race gas blend, and saw no issues with any of my o2 sensors (wideband and such).

I normally run sunoco 260gt100 (cam2) which is unleaded, but i found a race gas supplier closer to my house.

When I got there, I saw it was 110 leaded, but I said frig it and just mixed it with some 93 to get a combined octane rating of 102.5 (see the race gas blend equation on sunocos site).

That's pretty cool. I will have to keep an eye on the o2s. I should be able to push it pretty hard with the 112
