good find and all, but you REALLY SHOULD NOT copy and paste directly from that site...if u are caught u can get in SERIOUS trouble as any info on that site is considered confidential...so i would at least tweak it...lol...hince why i havent posted about it yet...was gonna post about it on the 17th, which is the first day you can place order on it.

So the 1SY -- Sport Package is cheaper than the 1SB? And it is just smaller wheels?

Unless you are a big fan of the seats it's not worth it. Personally I don't like the looks of those seats and they seem a bit juvenile. I have never been a fan of a product that is cool because the name is tatoo'd accross it.

So 1500 dollars for the LSD and seats I don't like isn't going to make it onto my order.
If I really want the LSD I will just add it on later. It will probably be a huge PITA because from what I read the LSD is built into the transmission.

I am glad they released it because it's going to make a lot of you happy

And hopefully not changing my order will bump me up ahead of all the people that are going to be changing theirs.

I don't know i hope I'm not the only one but I'm just a tad confused. The G85 includes "front bucket seats and a limited-slip differential. The package is only available on Cobalt SS Supercharged models with ebony interiors."

Soo...isn't that what we're supose to get if you preorder the SS/SC?? Someone want to explain the trim packages or post all the trims packages that are avaible or if someone could post a website that be cool too. Sorry its 9 in the morning and i'm tired as hell plus i just tool a calculus class and my brain is fried

Ok, I just talked to my dealer and the G85 option is now on the Chevy build program at the dealers for the Cobalt ss. There is no information about what the invoice price is yet. And yes the option is only available on SS with the black interior only. OH and to top that off me dealer told me that my car order was their alloted order on the Cobalt, so hopefully I get mine before the end of the month!

So does this mean that you cannot get any of the color intserts with the performance package?

I know the Recaro's wouldnt have them but I heard/figured that you could still have the door panels and back seats in black/blue, black/red, black/yellow, etc.

Answers?!

Dang.

This sucks, I know some people mentioned they saw the SS preproduction model at an autoshow and mentioned that the Recaro's looked a little odd with different color inserts.

Much thanks for the info though, I hope in some respects it's true and in others not so much.

Well this makes my choice a little harder. I could care less about the Recaros, but I want an LSD. Kinda sucks to have to add 1500 plus 800 for the sunroof. That makes it over 24k! I dunno, SRT 4 is still cheaper with the same basic things, and you are also in RSX type S pricing as well now. I know the RSX is not as powerfull as the SS, but it is an Acura and the quality def. makes up for it. Seems like this car is starting to become more and more exspensive than what it is worth

I know what you mean dude, a 2004 GTO unsold, with no miles and 350 hp ls1 v8 goes for less.

But, I'll see...it was always going to come down to the test drive for me. This isn't necessarily a bad thing just a tad annoying.

I'm very disappointed you're forced to get the Recaros. Like in my "headroom" thread you can't flip and roll the seats forward unless they changed that. That single handedly deters me from wanting to buy the car. Why do I have to be forced to get things I don't want? We'll see if that changes in years to come.

Does anyone know if this ebony interior comes with the titanium faced gauges?

I really liked the look of the colored interior, without the recaros. If I can only get an LSD with the ebony interior, I just may have to look at getting a used SRT-4.

the first car (on the platform, that has red inserts on the doors, and also for some reason not on the seats?) does not have recaro's. u can look and see that they arent...

the second car (on the floor) does not have any inserts and has recaros...
