here in indiana sunoco 94 is 3.50 gal....and now we have gas stations OUT of gas already!!!! holy ****...gota have gas to go to work!!! this is gona bite ! i guess id be ok paying 5 bucks gallon if they have it!!! cant run with out it......

That has to suck man, If you don't have gas, How are you supposed to PAY for the gas? you cant pull a fred flinstone in your car......

bum ***???not that bad, but we are pretty rural, but i work in bloomington so im sure ill get gas there!

^^^^ Oh please, get over yourselves. . It's not Bush's fault, it' the greedy ass gas companies and local gas station owners price gauging. Here in the west, we get out gas from california, which has nothing to do with the shortage in the midwest/east coast, yet out prices went up .30 cents in a matter of hours. Why? PRICE GAUGING! Greedy companies making prices go up.

Bush and Cheney are from the oil industry- don't think for a minute that them and their cronies AREN'T making a profit off of this.
one of the main reasons for going into Iraq (as was Kuwait 10 years ago) was to stabilize oil prices- jeez, that's worked really really well so far!
explain how all the major energy companies in the United States were posting RECORD QUATERLY PROFITS if there was such a refining shortage?
Granted, Hurricane Katrina has screwed a great many things up, but why have prices NEVER skyrocketed like this during any other natural catastrophe in the gulf?
Face it, kids, we and the world are getting a major screwing. It's kind of like being addicted, isn't it? I know at least five or six people that are losing their jobs as a result of these oil price rip-off. I know at least ten others that are looking for other jobs, mostly lower paying, just so they can be closer to home and not drive as far.
I am looking at a 50+ mile one-way commute with the job I am interviewing for. It's a good thing the Cobalt is good on gas.
Last night I had to buy a locking gas cap for my car and my mom's truck. Already the gas thieves are prowling my neighborhood. Do any of you remember the oil embargos of the 70's?

The prices are getting bad, we however still paying less than most of the world.

Someone needs to die for this! Youd think someone would put a cap on prices. Hawaii has anyways. Theres is like 2.75 a gallon and no more. At this rate it doesnt look like itll stop. I can see it now! 26.00 a gallon for regular! Our economy is gonna go down the crapper.

Does anyone know what the gas prices are in Europe or Asia?
I think that Canada may have close to the highest gas at $1.47.9/L in Quebec.
For the americans, that is $4.72 USD/Gallon.
