On my car, I have a scan gauge (displays info like knock, intake temps, IDCs, ect), wideband (displays air fuel ratio), Pyrometer (displays exhaust gas temp), oil pressure, fuel pressure, and boost. A wideband, and scan gauge are pretty good for any modded car, all the other gauges (except boost) are a little over kill unless your really makin some power.

Wait...why do you need a pyrometer except to look cool at night?
Yeah...I'd say don't daisy chain the wideband to the interceptor analog wires because you want to monitor your a/f ratio constantly. Plus there are some pretty cool looking a/f gauges out there. But that's just me.

You can monitor the AFR constantly on the interceptor. You don't have to make it scroll through a **** load on readings. All you really need is the number from the wide band the lights look like a friggin gay flashing disco and really serve no purpose except to make ricers go ooooo and aahhhhhh.

For an a/f I prefer the gauges with just the digital display of the actual ratio but that's just me.

two of the same gauges. You can program the gauges read so many different parameters that two work better than 1 IMHO.
Here's a rundown of every thing they can monitor on the SS/SC just by plugging them in to you OBD II port under the dash...
* RPM
* MPH
* Intake Air Temperature pre intercooler
* Intake Air Temperature post Intercooler *
* Mass Air Flow Sensor Frequency *
* Mass Air Flow Sensor (lb/min.)
* Engine Coolant Temperature
* Injector Pulse Width
* Long Term Fuel Trim
* Short Term Fuel Trim
* O2 Sensor Voltage
* Manifold Pressure in PSI (Boost pressure)
* Supercharger Inlet Pressure *
* Ignition Advance
* Knock Retard *
* Engine Run Time
* Battery Voltage
* Throttle Position Percentage
* Engine Load
* Instantaneous fuel economy
* Horsepower
* Analog input #1
* Analog input #2
Not to mention these things can read cylinder misfires, read and clear DTC's, shift lights, 1/4 mile times, 1/8 mile times, 60 ft times, 0-60 times, you can program the analog inputs to take reading from just about any electronic sending unit out there, and a whole slew of different things...

I use IAT1 and IAT2 on my top gauge and Knock and Boost on my 2nd gauge. When i get my wideband controller and oil pressure sending unit hooked up I'll have those two on my bottom gauge...
