there they are, i tried to get as many shots as i could cuz i know how people like to see the different angles. im happy with these gauges but i need to replace the sender on the trans temp since its stuck on 160 and wont move. autometer is sending me the new sender for free then ill have my performance guy swap it out.

 

also yes the car is very dirty ive been real busy lately and i will clean it soon lol

 

How far away is getting the kit? once you get it eventually add these to the equation for an even greater satisfying performer..

yeah i plan on getting some tranny work done to it later on but after i throw this turbo and brake upgrade on ill chill for a while and pay off some of my debt

I have a set of cobalt boost and egt gauges. I love them, they look really nice. I just see why you got those gagues? Do you have the turbo kit in ur hands yet? is it custom?

 

even if you get the kit it will sit till someone is able to flash the ecu.. and that wont be for months....

yeah i just found out from tcarter that he cant afford to use his car as the test car for hahn now i might be forced to go custom, its a shame hahn wont do it for free since he will make all his money back after selling the kit. and yeah i can use hp tuners for tuning no problem, and the air fuel ratio was too expensive of a gauge for me to justify it since i will have my performance guy tune my car and he can hook up a temp air fuel reader for tuning.

 

yah still not the thing, air to fuel is neccessary, i dont care if it pro tuned, its one the 1st ways of knowing if something is wrong, you go lean u back off, oil pressure is good, but i think minor compared to air to fuel, tranny temp is essential in an automatic,, but yah, i would re consider, spending 300 bucks for one, as it is very very very important, even if your tuned

Do you realize that a possible reason all those LSJ cars are blowing up is cause of the temperature difference? Colder air = more dense. More dense = lean conditions.

In Pittsburgh, we can have some crazy temperature fluctuations. Not to mention, if something else goes wrong on it (ie. fuel pump, fuel control, boost control) you could be seeing a lean condition.

But hey, it's your car. As long as you're prepared to shell it out to fix the motor, go without one.

First off, Hahn's kit, if offered for the auto, will include a tune. Secondly, if you go custom, HPTuners supports the 2.4L SS's PCM and TCM. You can tune with that... I should know, we already custom tuned mine.
