GM still delays Cobalt
Hello everyone I am a newbie. Begining of Oct. I placed an order for a black Cobalt SS, with all black interior and sunroof/xm deal Chevy offered. I've been in contact with my dealer on a weekly basis since they passed their 4 to 6 week deadline of me to have the car. I called Chevy yesterday and they said production on coupes including SS s/c coupes is in early stages now and will increase production as we get closer to the closing of this year. The way I figure it GM employees normally get 2 weeks for christmas break in 2 and 1 half weeks they will start their break (thats when our plant does) so production will stop and we will be waiting even longer.....unless GM really wants to get the cobalt SS out to the dealerships....i dont think we will be seeing any cobalt ss any time soon : (

Hello and welcome
A lot of people on here are waiting for the SS. I hate to say it, but from what I know, no one will get the SS till January. I really dont understand why it takes so long.
Scion had 3 new 2005 cars out this no time. Oh well. Nothing we can do but wait.

Them being all red Jives with what my dealer told me. "That all of the first run of SS SC would be red". I do not know how many cars he meant by run or how long it would be till the next run of ss sc's. When he said it I was not sure if he knew what he was talking about seeing how much the dealers seem to know, but it sounds like he was right.
