GMPP MAnifold gaskets

Hey does anyone know when installing the GMPP manifold if you have to use both of the manifold exhaust gaskets . When I bought part number 9230949 which is the manifold gasket, it came with 2 gaskets . Are they like shims and you have to use both or just one.

I'm going to install this tommorow and I want o make sure I don't screw it up

bump

It should be 2 metal gaskets that are pressed/formed together. Mine had one with some holes in it and the other side had tabs that went inside those holes and folded over. Kinda connecting the 2 together. You can seperate them but they are supposed to stay together.

Yea. I didn't really notice a difference though. Peeps on here says it's about a 4hp/6tq difference. I dont drive mine hard so that might be the reason I didn't feel it. My wife's the one with road rage lol. She'll race anyone

i tried to install my CA header (it didnt fit so i put the stock manifold back on) it wasnt very hard. the longest part was waiting for the engine to cool down before you take the manifold off.

The manifold I received didn't have any paper work with it. Nor gaskets. Not sure on the time. He done it while doin the TSB on the timing chain. I'll go ask though . He's just right outside my door . Will post in a sec on time.

edit: He said that he had troubles with one of the studs stripping out so it took him about 45 min or so.
