Going Price for a 07 SS S/C? & Going price for Stage2?
Hey,
I'm doing a bit more research, but thought I'd hear it from people who bought the SS S/C, What's a decent estimate of what these cars go for? Thanks!
Stage 2 looks fast... How much money are the stages, my research says around $400 +labor? Stage 2 Cobalts look like they could keep up with Stage 1 MS3's (MS CAI 250WHP). The SS S/C is starting to draw my attention more and more I really have to get behind the wheel of one now... I really have to do a test drive. Thanks for the help.

Where I live in NC, prices are roughly stickered at $22k, but for a G85 package with a LSD it jumps to around $24k and some change....the financing sucks right now though 5.9 for 60, or 6.9 for 72....And a Stage 2 is usually around $550 online.....thats avg. some less like as low as $400 (rare) and retail on a stage 2 is $750........labor is tricky too, as a tech. I can tell you don't pay a dealer more than 3 hrs. labor.......hope this was somewhat helpful......
crateenginedepot is great bc most of their parts are employee priced...i bought my stage 2 for $550 through my dealership and that was my price.......

I'm not sure you'll get a specific answer. Every couple months, there's a topic such as "How much are your monthly payments?" and judging by some of the answers on there, there are people paying anywhere between 20K and 30K or more.
Can you afford to pay cash?

Sweet, I'm going to try for 17-19k, Carsdirect says about $19,997 recomended price. Since I'm buying around Jan/Feb. I should get a better deal as the last few 07's are trying to get pushed of the lots.

We've still got New 2006's on lots around MA, no joke. Hopefully this holds true for the 2007 model. There are about a dozen in my area (about 25 mile radius) Hopefully they last. Especially with so many Sport compacts on the market for the 2007 & 2008 years, the MS3,Si, GTI, WRX, Mini S, new SRT-4, Volvo C30 etc. Hopefully those cars take a little attention away from the SS S/C long enough for me to pick up a new one :P

Chapman chevrolet has an 05 SS with 12K miles going for 12,500 and that's just to start.
If you pay sticker for an SS you need your ***** kicked in. They're offering 8K plus off of 07 Corvette's.. yes i said corvette's.
