Our cars are getting more rare with every CSS accident. The value has got to start going up eventually but $16,900 right now is way too high. But then again, so am I

Cobalt SS will hold its value when NOT modified.
They are very sought after, at least where I live.

Yeah I think it was a Hardees. It's next to the Taco Bell.

I should have gone in just to see their reaction. You guys are right though. They've probably got 5k minimum padded into the price. The thing was in great shape with brand new tires but I rolf-coptered at that price.

Anyway I pull up and check it out. 91k miles and they are asking $16,999. I had to laugh out loud. I was tempted to go in and explain how I bought my car (an 09 TC) in April with 4k miles for $16,250 but was too shocked to bother. Just thought I'd share with people who would understand.
What if the owner's g/f is "Makeing" him sell it, or his parents are and he doesn't want to.
So he asks too much for it, so that it doesnt sell

Or maybe his registration / insurance is out of date and he doesnt want it to get towed for sitting in one place too long, so he slapped a for sale sign on it.

That's true. Maybe it's some sort of weird consignment thing. I just thought a car dealer - even a local lot would know better. Though I guess by these other stories that it's clear people smoke crack before deciding the price for the sticker...

I get calls from this motor mall around me for my '01 S10 ZR2.
Apparently people keep coming in asking for one and the motor mall knows I have one, lol.
