Exclamation Halo Projector Manufacturer?????

Hey everyone, well I'm still pretty new to the forum, i've only had my cobalt a few months. However, last night I ran into a deer and messed up the passenger side pretty bad. I had the halo projectors installed, but the problem is that I bought them off ebay and now that I have to get the inssurance company to fix it, i don't know who the manufacturer of these halo projectors is. I know its probably a dumb question but can anyone help me out?

i dont think the insurance company will cover it as it is an aftermarket part. i think you might have to just buy a new one

Serious?
I guess it depends on where you get your repair work done at... then again it might be the insurance system too....
(In case anyone cares) The insurance company in Saskatchewan is a crown corperation (government ran). They have a 'pay the difference' policy. If you get into an accident, similar to this one, they will let you replace the broken parts with aftermarket parts, as long as you pay the extra amount (if they are cheaper then yay for them ).

when you get your quote, you can have the collision shop use whatever parts you want, you're supposed to use OEM parts, but it's your car, and when you get your check from insurance, you can use the money to get aftermarket lights...it'll be cheaper than OEM headlights for sure

Look closely at the clear lense on the Headlights. The name is stamped on the bottom middle of the lense. That is the manufacturer.

It's clear etched on clear, hard to notice at first.

tell the insurance company you'll just take the money for the damage of the headlights...

because i used to have header, dp, intake, exhaust, cams, the whole nine yards on my car
got into an accident...she says "We can either give you the money, or we can fix it"...

i said fix it......well i get my car...my car sounds awfully quiet.

my intake, headers, dp, exhaust = gone....and my cams snapped...so those are gone.

i was bone stock.

Oh damn, that sucks. I would be livid. I will say that the only thing after market on my car is the headlights and the gm performance intake. Unfortunatly I haven't done much else. Everything else is stock so luckly i haven't got too deep into aftermarket yet. I've only had it since mid january, i haven't been able to do a whole lot to it yet. Its about 4100 in total damage and they said they would replace the aftermarket halo projectors. It kind of works out that they are buying me a new set because the lights never seemed to focus up...no matter how much i messed with the adjustment bolts.

when I wrecked my last car and had aftermarket projectors on it the insurance company just had to see the receipt of whatever headlights I was buying and they reimbursed me. Since it was aftermarket and there are so many you basically get to choose your new ones (although aftermarket for our car sucks) just quote them the highest priced one online
