My $0.002, after taxes: A friend of mine, who has a mustang, and I were at a *bucks, talking about something like this. I know it is an OLD discussion, but we were talking about even though they are fwd, and 4 cyl, the SRT4 and the SS/SC were basically in design philosophy of muscle cars.

And before anyone flames, keep in mind the ORIGINAL design of muscle cars: Cheap, basic interior, function over form, power per dollar.

Like I said, just my $0.002 after taxes.

man no offence.. but ive seen economy cars like the ford probe... turn into beast with the stock 2.5l engine with a turbo and some nice internals pushing like 9 second cars... any car has the potential but chevy never intended for it to be a sports car... well a NON economy one... they have the corvette and others to replace that

I said in the design philosophy. The original idea behind muscle cars was power for cheap. Back then, it was v8s, now it starts at the 4 cyl level.

And you wanna talk big wing?

Well it's not often enough that someone on this forum says something that makes sense and can say it without being a jerk.

EtyrnuSS is one of those guys!

+rep on the way ...
