Horsepower
Ok so my 0-60 time is 5 flat and 1/4 mile time is 13.1 at 108 mph and i have 15 lbs of boost in an 07 ss sc would anyone know bout how much horsepower im puttin out and torque

i would say around 255-275. really doesn't take much for these cars to go fast. when stu had my car he went 12.75@109 at about 270-275hp. also which track where you at? cause almost all of the TN tracks are under 900 feet above sea level. with one or two being below 500 iirc. DA plays a factor in to times as well. you can't just say "i ran this time i must be around this horsepower"

vibrant headers, catless dp, dragon r secret weapon intake, 3 in pulley, ported m62, #60 siemens injectors, ingalls torque damper, ottp mounts, and custome tune,
I never had this good of stats but i replaced my crank position sensor and the ran better as it has been goin bad for a while now

Isn't horsepower just How much work, or effort was done over a set ammount of time?
I mean, your moving a Whatever your car weighs with you, your gas ect in it, over a measured 1320' distance (1/4 mile) and its Timed to the 1000th of a second (At that track I was at it was) So elevation and tempature are irrelelvent with the exception of takeing into account airodynamic drag, but It takes X amount of Horsepower to move Y lbs of mass, 1320 ft. In Z.zzz seconds
Youd have to calculate for air friction but, ya, I think you COULD calculate how much horsepower you put down on a run based on your run time and gross weight,
