How To... De-badge
So I wanna debadge the Cobalt, but I'm not sure hoe to go about it. Can anyone give my step by step instructions on how to do it without jackin' up my car. Also I want to paint the front bowtie. Does it screw out from the back and what paint looks and works best do ya'll think. Thanks

u can buy a vinyl over lay for the fron emblem from ebay the badgeing is stuck on. Spray the sticker with a lubricant such as WD-40, and try to peel it off. use fishing line or spatuala to try to take it off. also they make bumper sticker removal spray and sell it autozone. also u can use vasoline on the left over sticky stuff apply a coat on thee sticky stuff wait 10 15 mintues and wipe off

take spider line and then just peal the rest off by finger, using water or heat or other substances to get the black tape off makes it more difficult to get off. then rub the rest of the sticky stuff with goo gone or something of a sort. i just had mine taking off on the back to paint it. no scratches or anything. just be sure to wax that area when finished.

Nothing came up that you were satisfied with?
That lists the methods... how to do it. You might not be satisfied... but that's how you do it.
BTW... fishing line has always worked best for me.
