I am addicted to modding. I modded my mustang, totalled that. Bought a rusted 1966 VW, mostly fixed that then sold it, Bought a G6 modded that as much as you can got bored and parked it, bought a GTP modded that in 3 months got bored, traded G6 and GTP in for the SS, Modded both of MY SS's, then modded about 30 other ones, then I got bored there right when I thought I was done modding, and traded it in for a GTO to mod.
I blame it on Gran Turismo and Forza! They don't get you addicted to driving, they get you addicted to modding!

well i got the cobalt addiction kit and that runs about 1000, then he charged 700, so 1700 installed is not bad at all.the local big places around here like CARRS and RPM wanted no less than 3000

I'm putting all my extra money into my car. I don't feel addicted though. You can see my list in my signature. I still have about 8k I want to put into the car. The real point is are you putting money in that needs to be put toward higher priorities. Otherwise, blowing 10k or so on something you enjoy is just part of having fun in life.

My name is Bill & I'm Addicted to Mods! Like they do at AA[/QUOTE]
Yeah, the priorities thing is killing me. I should be putting my money towards a house. I can't help it though.

I'm addicted to modding, but I just don't have the money right now. I feel like a homeless crackhead who has to beg to get a pebble . Seriously though, I LOVE modifying cars and before my Cobalt we always had V8s in the family and were able to modify them to be fast enough with much less money. Now with the Cobalt, I really want to make it fast but I cannot make myself spend money over a long period of time just hoping that it will all come together; my new plan is to just wait until I have the money to do an actual build that will incorporate a ***** to the wall mentality along with alot of testing and tuning so it will turn out the way I intend it to.

You might rattle the doors loose. Everything in my car rattles from my stereo.

I am slowly getting to the point where I can spend money on the car. I just bought my MRZ strut bar, next is exhaust. Then Stage 2 over the winter, and so on so forth lol.

Thanks man! They were too big to have both of them on the back of the back seat so I had to mount one on the back of the back seat and one on the back of the box. The box was too big to fit in the trunk without taking the trunk apart. The only thing that sucks about it is that it weighs so much.
