I think we should say it E.C.O.tec and say each letter. jk.
But I say it both ways, ekotec when Im casual about it, but echotec when I really think about what Im saying.

I don't give a **** how others say it. I say E- Co- Tec(#1 choice) and don't get pissed at others. As far as how Bob Lutz and other GM guys say it what does that matter. If I see bob with a mouth full of dicks I for one won't go jumping on the band wagon because I think he is cool!

I agree w/ that, +1! Its ECHO-tec sheesh. When i think of eek-o-tec I think of those neo-eco-crazy's that populate the sierra club and hug trees for a living. now all of a sudden the dealer's word is gold? give me a break. and for someone that's so sure of themself, you're completely wrong.listen to the people who engineered, designed, built, etc. this engine and see what they call it. the dealer will tell you that a 2005 cobalt comes stock with a turbo. does that mean it does?
