How many miles can a Cobalt SS/TC handle?

I'm looking at some turbocharged Cobalt's 08-10 and I'm curious as to how many miles a Cobalt can handle before parts start going bad, turbo and engines need to be rebuilt, blah blah.

Impossible question to answer, far to many variables at work.

Best advice I can give is find a low miler that's in excellent condition and take good care of it.

Find a high mileage highway tc, with an owner that's over 25.

Find one owned buy someone over lets say 30 and has never been moded, as for mileage a car that has been properly maintained can go a long way. We have one company car at work that has 486,000 Kms and it's still on the road

Just buy a low mileage one if you're worried about it.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm kinda picky right now and I'm looking to get a Victory red cobalt with the red/black interior that's turbocharged. That being said someone contacted me that has one that fits my description, has 75k miles on it, but its been modified, quite a bit actually. Is this a bad choice do you think, buying one that's been modified already? I can still change parts out and re-modify it my self and all. But what do you guys think?

Personally I wouldn't touch it, buy a stock car and do the mods yourself, only way to guarantee they are done right.

My 08 has 87k miles on it, hard miles. Still going strong with no issues. About to go E85 this weekend, and I'll be 27 in Sept. so even people above 25 still have fun with them

My car is Victory red, has red/black interior etc. it was modded when I bought it.

a car will go as far as the owner wants it to go, maintenance goes a long way

All depends how the car seems to run when you get it id say, might be modded and ran hard but that doesnt mean it wasnt taken care of. Hell it could mean the guy cared for it so much he did more maitenance than necessary

I personally wouldn't buy a modified car.

you really should never buy a modified car unless every mod has a service history and the shop who installed it and you trust that shops work
