I've spent close to $10,000.00 on mine including all the parts in my sig and labor.

like a grand tops.... i decided early on that modding a cobalt is a waste of time... now i have a SSSC daily driver and a project car on the way...

hell my rims topped 3k.... add some vertical doors, nav unit, 2 HID headlight sets and a number of repaints..... well yea

rofl my tires were 1200 alone. wtf tires you put on your car? goodyear? firestone? rims+tires was around 2700 give or take 100.00 however i didnt top 10k yet and never said it. More like, 6,000

Hankook ventus 245-45-17, retail is $750 for all 4 but I got them for only $360 with a waranty

was 1100 for rims
1200 for tires
custom drilled for our gay lug pattern which cost 50.00 each
Financed at 10% because I didnt want to dump it all at once for 1 yr

Injen intake 270.00
Door repaint from ding 500
2 sets of HID headlights both 250 /w ship
lambo hinges 400.00 (was guinea pig)
lambo hinge install 500.00
eclipse nav unit 1200.00
aftermarket headunit retaining onstar, RAP, and chimes 160.00
Bumper and back quarter panel repaint 800.00 (brother had a fender bender)
225 for drilled + slotted rotors

7255... u can take my repaints out if you want, it is what i paid out of pocket though /w out insurance.

I hit a pole, got the new light, control arm and steering assembly still need about 1k in body work and paint.

so wheels and tires = 1300
+ RAW intake= 300
+ CF spoiler midsections = 300
+ Magnaflow catback = 500
+billet grille = 300
grand total = 2700

and ive had the car for like 6 months

According to my garage in ************** I dropped $6695 on the Ion.

Engine was used from a junkyard. I thought the labor price was just whatever until I started talking to people about doing a swap for the Lexus.....talk about expensive!!!!

between 10-12k and im not done

and thats just in engine..in look goods like 10k and in system like 3k
