How much hp Will an INJEN cai add to cobalt sc to the ground?

any idea how much hp will be added to the wheels with an injen cai? also wont my s/c get a lot louder?

yea ur s/c will get louder it wont add that much to the wheels though... i put the injen in mine all i noticed was that the supercharged whine was louder

injen cold air re:

i wonder why it doesnt add any hp they claim 17 hp i have a borla performance exhaust also. is there not more air going in there with that intake?

the sound of the whine is amazing enough for the $$$s spent on this part. its impossible not to stomp on the gas every possible time to hear it

i saw a 10hp gain i dyno 225 stock and im at 235 after installing injen and the whine is to die for wouldn't think its a m62

it will def make your s/c whine louder. hp if your stock ima say around 5hp. its one of them supporting mods. like when you drop a pulley size. its going to make better use of that power because of increase cool air flow. a well worth mod.

i got a 8hp gain from a ebay intake i dynoed 217 stock with the gm sport exhaust also

well i am not sure what is got because i have had the exhuast and intake on when i got dynoed the first time but i am figuring the 205 stock to my 217 so thats pretty good for me just trying to get more money so i can get a decent setup and have good power

I have the zzp one and got 8.1hp to the wheels so when people say it doesnt do much as far as gains, their wrong cause it deff. does and the sound is amazing

When I installed the Injen CAI on my supercharged setup it was as loud as heck, lol. I love it... it is the coolest.

It will give a charged car more HP than a naturally aspirated car. This part is well worth the money and a must if you drive a SC. And yes it is impossible not to stomp on it when you get this.
