I need a tuner... or for someone to find Term2

Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've been on here. Long story short, Term seems to have fallen off the face of the earth. I'm about 2 weeks from bringing my car back out from winter hibernation and am looking at getting an e47 tune but I haven't been able to get ahold of Term. Currently, I'm tuned by him on 93 and my car has NO ISSUES (not trying to turn this into a bashing ground). I spoke to colodude today and he hasn't heard from him either so we are both wondering what happened to him. I'm hoping he's ok. Anyways, I'm hoping someone knows him personally and can get me back into contact with him. If not, I'm gonna be in the market for another tuner and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Please for the love of God don't turn this into a **** show. If someone suggests a tuner and you have a bad experience with that person, by all means speak up because that's the info I'm looking for, just keep it civil. Thanks in advance for any help and here's to hoping I don't regret this post

Kmo43 seems to be the new "go-to" guy. I have not personally dealt with him yet, but when i get my k04r, he's gonna be the one to tune it.

I agree. Term has moved onto the Ford focus platform and the new go-to guy is KMO43. He's the main tuner doing a major build right now n he knows his ****. Super quick response and awesome to work with. Great guy. Highly recommended! Idk what else u need to hear. Lmao I personally guarantee that u won't regret making the switch. I sure as hell dont! Lol there?

Also not on here much is my tuner-09cobaltss1- and I would highly recommend him. He was recommended to me by term when term took a break from tuning a couple years ago. He has done a great job on my car. I have contact info for him if you want.
Strange that even Adrian can't get a hold of term as his group out there has several cars tuned by him.

Yeah, it is odd and i know hes been trying for a few weeks. I'm transitioning into our group tuner now, not quite comfortable with remote tuning yet to offer it up.

From tuning discussion that have occurred here I also would recommend people look into 09cobaltss1.

I would recommend kmo43 as well, he has been great help thru my tuning process, even tho we have hit some bumps on the tuning due to my car getting kr really early, I'm working on diagnosing the problem to continue the tune and get the results we are looking out of her.

So Term is still around, just not for us?

I had forgotten about him but if you could give me his info, I would like to talk to him to have a few questions answered. And I agree that it's strange. I don't know term that well, just got tuned by him last august and he had it dialed in relatively quickly so I really didn't communicate with him much but I knew Adrian worked a lot with him which is why I contacted him. I even talked to John Powell yesterday to see if he had any info on Term and he hasn't heard from him either.

Adrian mentioned you yesterday when I was talking to him. Good luck man!

Depending on where in Ohio you are, and how soon you're looking to get tuned, I'm going to be back to Southern Michigan this fall for a bit and potentially drive down and tune you.

I'm not in desperate need of a tune right this minute. The car was running great when I parked it for winter so unless some huge problem arose while it was parked (you never know, it is a cobalt lol) I should still be ok for now. I'm still on the fence about going with an e47 tune. But I live over in the area where PA, WV, and OH all connect so it's about 4 hours from Michigan

We have at least 10 LNFs in our local club right now that he has tuned. When he sold his HPT cable about a year or so ago, me and another club member bought him a new one so he could tune for us again.

I could understand that he moved onto another platform but it's still weird that he suddenly stopped responding. He adjusted a tune for us in October for a club member that moved from Colorado to Oregon. Haven't heard a single peep since, and I have his cell phone number.

I'm lucky to have ECaulk close that is very knowledgeable and whom I trust with my car. I'm very squirrely when it comes to trusting my pride and joy with someone I have never met...

Hopefully those 2 loose spark plugs were the source of the problem!!

E47 is awesome

I'm coming up on running it for a year, mild timing increase to 22, could run more just happy with 22

Yes e47 requires 15% less fuel so can be run on a stock fuel system

And I think you only get 1-2 more degrees of timing with e85 over e47. Haven't had the chance to see egt differences to see if there is useful extra cooling

Less fuel would be nice, but my fuel system is not stock at all haha, building it to run on e85. With that said, any real difference in power between e47 and e85?

I think the power addition stops around e60, haven't spent time on a dyno to confirm though

I have no doubt that I'll love an e47 tune, my concern is whether my transmission will share my happiness or commit suicide

You'll have more topend and just make sure you have a smooth boost ramp and you'll be all good on your 4.05 trans

In big power setups you'll have gains because the E85 carries more oxygen in it and you're injecting so much

Snail's car is the only one I've come across that I didn't get over 22* knock on and I really think 2 loose plugs and 1 leaking will cause his issues. On Justin's car we were able to get 24* total and I believe he's over 475hp
