i think im done with my cobalt already.

Ive OWNED it for a week. and have drivin it for 2 hours. the trans blew and i have not seen it since. The Stealership says it could be 3 weeks till the part is in because apparently no one in the united states has the part that i need. So i think im going to give it back to the dealer and take there 2004 Mach1 Mustang.

The story on his Cobalt is here https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...02#post1245302

How in the hell did you screw up the tranny? You had to be doing burnouts or something.

Do NOT trade it for an 04 mach1 unless that is what you really want. They are not worth the money, buy yourself a used sti, evo, infiniti g35 or 05-current mustang gt. Do some searching you would be suprised what you can find for an equal price. Plus at this point I'm pretty sure you can just tell them to refund your money.

wow that post was awful , why would you want a 3 valve mustang when you can get a 4 valve hahahahahaha people like you crack me up , hey guess what my friend in his 03 mach 1 was cutting 13.1 with stock tires all he had was basani catback. try and do that in your g 35 or 3 valve gt , a used evo/ sti is more expensive than the op is looking at , used mach's go for around 16-21

Guys it isn't a new Cobalt. In another thread I believe he stated it had 30,000 miles on it. The previous owner (probably on here, had some nice mods to it) probably beat the **** out of the car and sold it before its breaking point. If thats the case, I'd find him and sue the **** out of him. Cut and dry case in court.

You can't sue the former owner just because he beat on a car. Stupidest thing i have ever heard

and i thank those of you who actually care.

the car has 30k miles on it, and was only about 8months old. i didnt beat on the car are all, you guys cant take you assumptions and blow it out your ass, seriously, you look for sympathy anytime something happens to you but dish out negative comments at everyone else.

i didnt beat on the car at all, **** i only spun the tires ones and thats because i was in loose dirt after pulling off to the side of the road for something. i only drove the car 3 times. from the lot to work. work to home home to the store..it broke on the way to the store and i pushed it home thats it. the Clutch felt fine, it shifted smooth. i just lost each gear one gear at a time and was lucky enough to make it about a mile from home.

They wont take the car back anyway so apparently im stuck with it. im looking into someone getting a rental car for me and ill just drive it. i dont really care what the laws are about that. i Didnt spend 27k total after the interest of financing and **** to drive around my cousins 1989 chevy S10.
