That MBE downpipe looks pretty nasty.

the flex looks like a $15 china flex and those welds are not to pretty.

bump so people can see the cheap ass OTTP lnf DP

all stainless for 170? :O

not even MBE has them that cheap.
Funny thing is when I wrote that post the OTTP Downpipe wasn't out yet (to my knowledge) it came out on Black Friday and OTTP was selling it for $149 + 02 Chamber ($40ish I think) that day so I actually bought it. Can't wait to get it on the car.

to OTTP

Oh man I gotta teach you everything . In the Spring ask Kev to go to a dyno with you after installation and check to make sure all is well. Scan for codes, check exhaust flow, etc. just to make sure it's installed tightly and there's no adverse side-effects

The idea is to hook-up to the OBDII port with a reader (like HP Tuners or a normal reader itself) and scan for any anomalies, in particular codes, your ECM/PCM might be throwing post installation. I suggested getting in contact with Kev because with HP Tuners he can read a hell of a lot during numerous runs (even on a highway through 3rd) and make sure there's no hiccups in performance along the way, etc.

As for his comment here we go:

1) Your thread title is "I will make this the 1000's DP thread"
2) DP also stands for double-***********
3) He was joking about 1000 double-************ based on your thread title

okay makes sense....lol
i thought about DP along time ago but ppl have been using it so much i forgot.

Is going to Kev better than driving it for a week then grabbing the one from the shop and checking it out with my service manager??
hes cool ****, usually it costs 69 bucks or whatever.....
Im thinking stage kit and DP at ame time......driving it for a week then i was going to check it anyways because of the stage kit...never thought of the pipe doing too much damage

does that sound good er what?

If all you want is codes then the one in your shop is probably fine. If you want real data logging from start to finish, you're going to need more than the OBDII scanner; mind you I'm not sure just how much data the one at your work can pull, I'd like into it .
