It comes on at 37 degrees. Yes it might be kinda of obvious but its not really stupid as there could be still ice on the roads at that temp.

Mine came on and it was like 85 degrees outside. At first I was like WTF? but then I turned on the radio and BAMMMM... this came on.


Cobalt is smart.

I've seen it sometimes early in the morning, but it's normally like 37, so that might be the temperature it registers at. My moms Captiva does it, and so does my dads Silverado.

and yes, there could be ice outside.. but i think we all know when we walk out to our cars if there is ice on the road.
it annoys me when it comes on because its cold but the roads have been dry for days upon days.

this, its a safety feature, if you were driving for a few hours and started to go up in elevation, you might not realize how cold its gotten outside of the car.
