Installed Sportlines-forgot to cut bump stops

I installed my sportlines today. Started with the back and everything went OK. I was working alone and getting some help from my 8 year old. My brothers showed after I had the fronts started and it started getting busy. I was trying to do everything because one of my brothers blew out his knee two weeks ago and the other one cut his arm yesterday and couldn't get to dirty. Well they started helping and I was rushing so they didn't do anything. We got everything done and started to take it for a ride and I realized I forgot to cut the front bump stops. [B]Am I screwed???[B]Can I drive like that for a few weeks? It's sitting fine and looks good. Thanks for the help.

yeah its not a problem. if your really talented you can jack the rear end up and be able to see the bump stops enough to be able to cut them without taking the whole thing apart(to do that you would need to get under the car and go in from the other side of the wheel or under the car. you should have enough room to cut it and be able to take it out. if you do this i would cut it off in small slivers so that you can pull out the shaveings. other wise if you cut off to big of a chunk you wont be able to get it between the coils in the spring.) but if you do take it all apart i would just pull the bump stop out... thats what i did and i never botom out

Yeah it does. The struts have bumpstops. They aren't like the stops in the back; those are called Jounce bumpers.

The swaybar link was the toughest part of the install for me. Had to hold it with channel locks and use an impact.

You are correct. The bump stop is inside the corrigated platic tube that protects the strut. You can't really see it but it is in there.
