Interesting gas mileage

I've been getting a consistent 9.2-9.3L/100km with a mix of fast, granny, city, and highway driving.

my oil was around 24% and i went to get it changed, and for the past 2 weeks ive had 8.4L/100kms!!!!!! with the lead foot and highway/city miles, with granny driving mixed into it as well!

what gives!!! is fresh oil the trick?

It's not unheard of to get a bit of a mileage boost after an oil change.

Why don't you use the DIC in your car to tell you MPG? I do it all the time.

Hold down your arrow and I button and it should cycle a screen that says " Metric " or English. Then just pick english... check the owners manual if you can't get it.

I did about a 150km round trip this week and got 30mpg. I was averaging 75mph though. The milage seems to go up as the cars age.
