It's been fun! Traded my car in...

After 7 years, an SS/SC and now the SS/TC, I've finally moved on. I'm trading my car in for a new F-150 SuperCab 4x4.

I'm insanely excited to get the truck, but at the same time it's going to be hard to let my car go... They both served me well and I had a LOT of fun in them.

With that being said, keep an eye out in the classifieds for a pretty good part-out thread. Some of the things incldued will be:

- Treadstone TR12 IC with full CP
- Treadstone Catless DP
- ZZP stainless brake lines
- K&N SRI
- Modern Performance UDP
- OTTP Rotated Mounts
- Depo Projectors (Black) with HID's
- Trifecta tuning cable (Clear Box)
- 3-4 new HID kits

If anyone wants to call dips on anything, PM me and we'll work out a price. I want this stuff gone quickly, so everything will be priced accordingly.

Thanks to everyone that helped me out along the way!

Matt

No, I got a good deal on a 5.0 that was on the lot. So upgrading to the ecoboost would have cost me about $4000 more.

I did some research and there are a few issues with the Ecoboost that Ford hasn't been able to fix yet, so I decided to stay away from it.

$70 shipped. They're brand new, never installed. ZZP sells them for $109+

No, you need the cable to install the tune from Trifecta. You need to buy one from them seperatly. I think they're under $200 if you have the cable. Then you can do e-mail updates and datalogging without finding someone else with a cable. You can become a Trifecta dealer as well and make some cash with it.

Goo thing to stay away from ecoboost for now. I work at ford as a tech. Stay away lol. We currently are not fixing major problems with ecoboost as ford wants them sent back to them so they can determine the problem and we just plop in a new engine. Now that's what I call diagnosis rofl

I knew that it wasnt a good idea to just throw a new engine from a taurus with 2 turbos in a truck. I said that from day one wait a year or to there will be dozens apon dozens of TSB's and recalls.

It is the SRI. Sorry, I've just got an old habit of calling them CAI's. K&N only made one intake (other than a drop in filter) for the TC

I've literally received about 40 PM's on this stuff, haha.

I am going away tomorrow for the weekend and I'll be back on Monday. I'll put up a for sale thread in the classifieds with prices and pics for everything then!

If you PM'd me and I didn't get back to you, don't be offended, I just don't want to respond to the same questions in every PM. A lot of the stuff I haven't decided on prices yet either.

See you guys Monday!

P.S. the truck is amazing!!!

Smile Congrats on the new Truck !

I found this interesting, though , and did some reading/research.

From the F150 forum - 17 page thread on this.

I had not heard of this before, but it seems like a possible common issue is a bad plug or a bad (factory) program.

Ironically, when some of them talked about a 4 psi boost issue all I could think of was "Solder the GMS1 connectors !! " Umm, wait ...

Now, back to the thread in progress.

Britt
