How are you guys jacking up your lowered balts/cars? I find it difficult to get my jack under the car far enough to find a solid enough spot it wont buckle in. I want to change my tranny fluid. Is there a spot I can raise the car from the front that it stable enough or maybe some device I can get instead?

Start at the rear of the car and drag the jack forward. Theres a frame looking piece that runs under the car on each side.

the problem is my car is too low for a normal jack

I think this low pro one will do the trick

youll be fine, im now lowered on coils and it fits under just fine.

do you put a piece of wood so it doesn't push in the point of contact?

Mine are much shorter, but I simply drive up on them before jacking the car up.

harbor freight has a bunch of low pro jacks...my buddy with a slammed integra uses stacks of baseball bases

ya I saw it on the site. gonna have my mechanic do the fluid change till I can by the jack.

i use a normal size craftsman jack 3ton capacity one

i use three 2x4s, one on one side, and then a cross formation on the other

drive up the cross till in the center(highest point) and make sure the single 2x4 is lined up

I use the jack that's comes with the car then I put my big jack under after it's raised enough

Go to Lowes, buy a length of 1x6. Saw it in 4 pieces. Drive up on them. now your jack fits and problem solved. Total cost is 7 dollars and change.

Go to walmart
go to auto/recreation section.
find RV levelers.
Buy two sets.

They are plastic, lego like pieces the snap together and each are about an inch tall.

build what you needs, drive up on them, then jack it up.

Love them. Used them on my coilovered SC that had the subframe 3.25" from the ground and had a lip kit.

I think I'm going too. The jack I use now barely clears the front bumper.

I guess I could just run up on some wood. Then again this is a could excuse to get a new jack.
