keyless entry question
im looking for a good keyless entry system, perhaps one that will give me power door locks from the inside of my car (like factory). i was wandering since most of the cars come with power locks, would mine already be wired for the addition of a system. Im trying to say that, would all i have to do is mount the actuators and the "computer" controller and hook up a few harnesses to the factor wiring, or is nothing installed for it? so would it be best to get some sort of aftermarket system, or try and get the actual cobalt system, and what would be a good price to pay for either. come on dealership guys, i know you know this stuff (or should). but im sorry if my question was confusing, i will clear up anything posted on here. thanks in advance.

Unless you want to get ore out of the system (remote start, alarm, etc.) the guys at your dealership should be able to hook it up fine. If you want anything extra, I would look into aftermarket options. The dealer might screw ya on all of the other stuff. Just a thought.

u will pay way too much for a dealer installed system. If you install one yourself you will spend 50 dollars on the system and 20 dollars on wire and parts and it will work. I put one in for my parents cobalt and it took about 5 hours. And the car alarm and keyless entry on my car cost 100 dollars and took about 8 hours. if you have any specific questions PM me. I am late for my signlanguage class.
