killed a mazda 3 but messed up my car

LoL i hate you guys! j/k I have an ls w/ the sports package and mine cuts off at a shitty 105!! WTF is that all about, prolly a Cali thing they regulate everything.

To answer the original question, if nothing of any substantial size got into the throttle body then you should be fine, just pop the intake back on.

naw...i got 107 once racing my buddys Mazda Protege on the freeway, n im in LA....dont know where my limiter is...didnt wanna go any faster...we were weaving through cars at over 100mph...scary as hell....(lane changes are pretty hectic at that speed)
ill tell you how high mine is if i ever drive to vegas

if it is a hatch it is 3s only the sedans come in the in the 3i or 3s. Also do you know if it was auto or manual, the auto/sportshift suck in the car, however the manuals are nice. I used to own one with header, no cat, 2.5" catback magnaflow, suspension, intake etc.... loved it, fun car to drive especially in the turns anyways congrats on the win....

you probably have our limiter at 124.but yeah ive done 135 on my car. and after that ihad no gas...cuz it cut so much once i hit that 124.

Where is the MAF in these cars? If it's where the SS S/C one is, meaning right in/next to the airbox, then you just sucked in some unmetered air which could cause some detonation issues. However, if the car runs fine now, I wouldn't worry about it.

Im pretty sure that the MAF is closer to the airbox than the TB on all the cobalts, so yea...just some un-metered air.
