Question LE5 or LNF?

So I'm in a debate with myself. I'm working on a project and am stuck until I get the block and transmission to make mounts and such. But at this point I'm stuck between building a LE5 or the LNF.

I've found the LE5 easier to obtain and very cost effective. ZZP also told me by putting a LNF crank in the LE5 would make the engine much more efficient and basically turn it into a 2.1L. Keep in my mind I plan on building both engines regardless of my decision and will have a turbo.

Now the LNF leaves me with a decent product on it's own and already has a turbo application setup. The engine is newer has many useful oil cooling features. Problem is they are hard to come by at a decent price since they are the "newer model."

Basically I'm just asking for some useful knowledge and suggestions on which route I should take and the pros and cons of both. As much info as you guys can give will be greatly appreciated!

if you put a lnf crank in a le5 how would it go from a 2.4 to a 2.1?

I'm assuming it changes the "use" of the displacement. Maybe I read their email wrong, but that's what I got out of it.

It destrokes it to the LNFs short stroke but uses the LE5s 88mm bore. Plus the LNF crank is indestructable. Its forged steel

I'm really leaning towards that setup. I really just want the block and transmission so I can get my mounts made and then paint the car. I can build the motor later. Now would the LNF head be more efficient?
