In the slotted vs drilled it really does not matter. The Material of the rotor is what matter's! cause it does not matter if it's drilled or slotted either way there is LESS material to the rotor when it has been either drilled or slotted, What makes them crack is either incorrect pad(pad over heat's and the rotor cant get rid of said heat quick enough), Or a shotty material! This was a basic part of brakes at UTI!

nope, the only mods i have are red painted front bowtie, de-badged rear bowtie, lightly tinted tails, SS/TC upper and lower grilles, and 8k HID headlights and 3k fog lights...and whenever my brakes come in will have drilled/slotted GMPP rotors and Hawk HPS pads
next on the list is window tint, exhaust, then lowering, then S/C.
but that wont be for a while, i have a 2000 Cavalier i have to get re-painted

yeah get a decent material and the rotors won't crack even drilled...
the reason they caught a bad rep is people were taking shitty rotors, drilling them and then having them crack... if you notice, almost all high end exotics come with drilled/slotted rotors from the factory and only Porsche had a problem with cracking, and it was a defect that they fixed under warranty......and replaced with another drilled/slotted rotor
if you get the R1 Premiums, no matter how you get them, they won't crack
