Looking at a cobalt to buy tomorrow, what too look for?
Hello all. Looking to buy a mint 08ss with 51k miles on it and 435whp. What's are some stuff to check for, listen, and feel for? I know the basics like to check the oil and what not but any other stuff you guys would recommend that would be great! Thanks!

FMSR stage 3 transmission?? lol. If he lets you drive it make sure the trans feels good. FMSR is a sketchy company from what I have seen lol
Hahn charge pipes?
I think I heard something about the Hahn charge pipes being steel and rusting. Something to check forsure
Check to make sure the hid headlights are fully functional with no wiring issues.
Coolant in oil, check oil cap for milky colored oil and weird smell. Some lnf engines may have a porous block. But I guess its not very common.
Im sure others will have better tips but those were just a few that came to mind from what I have read around.
I bet its a nice car, but you definitely need to give it a good look over.
Best of luck

Wow, he must be pushing that 20g turbo pretty hard. And FMSR tranny? They are notorious when paired with their 3.0 motor. Stage 2 axles? On a ss/tc? Never heard of them. Any dyno graphs? Y only 2 pictures?

S20g is normally around 400-415hp. They are a bigger turbo but not near as big as a lot of the aftermarket turbos. They spool a little later which isn't a bad thing on an lnf. The turbo motors develop a lot of torque down low so the 20 isn't too bad by spooling later.
