lowering car

i want to gte my cobalt lowered an di was going to buy the springs but i didnt knwo f i should have a shop do it or couldd i and some friends do it if we knew what we were doing?

Dont make 2 post just because we dont answer, atleast try a bump first, and Its not our decission. If you and your friends are experienced enough and know what your doing, and have the proper equipment and place, which i have no idea? than go for it. If you dont and you have the cash money to have a shop do it than do that.
