Lsj 2 step. Question and thoughts

I was on youtube and came across 2 step videos and the sound alone sounds so bad ass!! I had zzp send me their can tuned pcm, could they add a 2 step setup to that tune? Or do I need the WOT box? If the 2 step gets installed what are the down sides to having it? If I sit there multiple times threw the day 2 stepping what are my risks? Ruining cats from unburned fuel?
Any comments or concerns would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

You'd need the wot box. I think you need to be retuned for it, but really you shouldn't run any canned tune on your car

I'm really not sure, I haven't had much interest in the WOT box myself. Find a tuner and they'll be able to talk to you more in depth about WOT box and 2-stepping. As far as tuning where are you located?

Oh snap your in my boat lol, I'm in southern MD. I'm hoping to travel to nj to get my car tuned... There is also the option of getting remote tuned.

There used to be a very good tuner in va that I really wanted to go to, but I haven't heard from him in over 2 years and I'm unsure on whether or not he is still in the business

You have to buy a WOT box for sure. If anyone tells you that they can add it with HPtuners, they are just talking about setting your Park/Neutral rev limiter. It works like a 2 - step when you are at a dead stop, but after you get rolling it really just cuts fuel delivery during shifts, which makes your car bog like crazy during high RPM shifts.

that's why WOT boxes are ideal if you care about launches.......but goodbye axles.

Yeah I was thinking about that. I just did the clutch and replaced the passenger side axle, got it from autozone. And they have lifetime warranty I'll just go get new ones everytime they break haha. I was thinking of doing the ZZP upgraded axles, but I'm afraid of damaging the trans. I Really just want to hear the blower 2 step. I don't plan on Tracking the Balt. Don't judge me lol

WOT box is needed.
Period.

If you have an HP Tuners cable I can tune you remotely though.

I do not have HPT. I have always been nervous about doing my own tuning. What do you mean remotely?

You won't hear the supercharger when you 2-step. The bypass actuator is vacuum activated, and in neutral you will not be making boost. Sure, the supercharger will be spinning, but the air will be primarily going through the bypass and not through the rotors.

You pull your file.
You log your car with the scanner.
You email the files and the log.
I make changes based on the info given.
I send back a tune that you install to your PCM.
You log the revision.
Send it back to me and the process repeats until things are all good
