man i hate cobalt seats...
so yea...i decided my first cobalt thread is gonna be about how i hate cobalt seats...
they have zero side support and then the side support that it does have is always in the way when i shift...its not really a big deal...
...but compared to my prelude, 240sx, gta ws6, my irocz, my rx7's and my beloved DSMs...these have to be the worst seats in my opinion...
but in the end...as much as its shaped like a gay red ladybug...i love my red 2005 cobalt ss...
haha..lemme know what you guys think about the seats...its kinda a stupid thread..but eh whatever...
***i have the non recaro seats...im sure recaros are great..but this thread is soley about non recaro seats...

If you want side support get the new SS seats out of a 08 or 09 SS. Those seats beat the recaro's any day IMO. I can't wait for someone to sell the seats out of their 08/09 SS. By the way, where do you live in Michigan?

I'll agree, I think the stock seats suck. I have a 2300 mi drive ahead of me next week...my back is not looking forward to it. If anyone has a set of aftermarket seats they want to trade or trade +cash near Chicago, let me know...

If the turbo had heated leather seats I probably would have got one by now, if they could swap my seats I'd get one, I hate cloth seats and no heat seats sucks.

I'm happy with the SS/TC's seats, they're supportive and comfortable even on long drives. I could complain about them not being heated, but it honestly hasn't bothered me... This coming from a guy who regularly deals with sub -25C (-13F).

The SS/TC seats are definably supportive, can't comment on long ride comfort as my passenger trip was short, but has to be as good as my current. But one trip with my Vizsla's and I would never get the hair out of the seats, the short hair just impregnates cloth seats. One of them bifurcated his paw at the river and bleed all over the back seat on the way to the Emergency vet, and it wiped right up, cloth doesn't do that, and neither would the suede inserts on the Cherokee, and they are relegated to the cargo area in that. The suede is heated in the Cherokee also, so GM can do it, they just don't.
