What I wanted was a manual transmission that would stand up to 750whp. The evolution of the project just led me to doing a conversion that sloved so many problems.
I loved the Cobalt from the first time I saw one on a poster.
I never planned on doing any mods.
I found this forum and the bad people on here got me into modding.
When I started modding for power, I never planned to do this kind of project.
Once I got so far in there was no turning back and failure was not an option.
Does that help to explain it?

I 'got' a Sport Tint Red SS/SC. Well not yet, but it is actually sitting at the lot waiting for me to pick it up. Loved the color. I like red, but personally prefer something darker then the Victory Red, so the STR was perfect for me.

Miller Brother Chevrolet's new car manager Bruce Carter was sure that was to be the next HOTT color! We got 5 SS sedans in painted it, fully loaded. And they sat, and sat, and sat, and sat, and sat. Bruce couldn't figure it out.....I told him not many people want a purple car. Boy did he get pissed! We finaly got rid of the last couple doing stock transfers with other dealerships. I think we actualy sold 2 of the 5.

IMO any SS 2.4 or 2.0, i see mad ls and lt coupes and sedans driving around. have yet to see another SS of any kind in my area
I think that color is sweet. Its not a girly color to me at all. A dealer up my way has a used one with same options less the leather with 11k on it for $17k.
My boss, in April, bought a leftover 2006 Majestic Amethyst Metallic SS 2.4L 5spd coupe loaded with black leather and a sun roof. It is actually a really nice looking car if you can get past the purple thing. It listed out at 22k he drove it off the lot for 16k + tax & tags. I guess most people were looking at it like a chick's car but it wasn't moving with the 5spd... I call it the "Purple People Eater" It is the only 5spd SS coupe I have ever seen in that color...

yeah i've seen my share of coupe 2.4 autos.
I've seen several different ss/sc and only one ss sedan (orange, best sedan color).but, if they ever made an ss sedan in arival blue with manuall tranny...that would be pretty rare.
