I regret buying a used megan exhaust, the resonator was broken on the inside and muffler was just to loud, fixed that tho just cost me alot more money.
Regret not buying hp tuners its a ******* pain in the ass to try and mee up with someone when u both work alot of over time and live 30ish miles apart, i plan to buy it next year tho.

I've spent about $500 (muffler delete, then back on, buying catless dp, selling it, every combination basicslly) on exhaust and now my cars stock. I regret wasting that money! Car sounds best stock so far.. Like being a sleeper instead of a heat magnet.
My mods are going to be a hood liner to quiet the engine and turbo sounds, and a bigger resonator to make the exhaust even more quiet. Then the most aggressive tune you can possibly get done to a stock TC.
This is my plan for next year... Shouldn't be suprising though as I'm well know for being super anti rice!

I regret buying a nav then just realizing I dont really need one seeing it only gives more reason for someone to break into the car. even though nav's look nice, stock USB/Aux In radio and my SmartPhone can do all the same functions plus more.
I also regret not going with my gut and going catless right away (thought it would be too loud but its not bad), still trying to sell the catted DP I used.
Past that I'm happy.. none of these regrets will end up costing me anything in the end as I buy all my parts used. Pretty happy overall

I regret Megan cat back. Too loud on it's own. Bought a stock SS/SC exhaust that I've yet bring to a shop to get it back on my car. (It's cut)
Also regret coilovers. The lowered look is nice, but the roads here in Detroit are just unforgiving. I scrape going up my driveway if I don't go slow enough. And I'm on my second lip.

I regret:
-buying stickers for the outside (though they were funny...corrected now)
-stickerbombing my trim (looked like **** after less than a year...corrected now)
-2.4 intake manifold (made the car feel sooo slowwww....corrected now)
-painting my chrome grille (was a rush job so now its chipping...will be fixed in the summer)
-waiting so long to track the car!!!
Other than that I'm pretty happy. Went through like 3 or 4 sets of headlights (including a set of retros) but I either broke even or made money so no complaints there...just abit of wasted effort and time haha

Oh well you've got your wish now, neither of us are mods anymore
Starting to regret my megan turboback. Sure it flows well, but it doesn't sound that great, has no real growl to it, I think it's got too many resonators, and the fitment is poor on it. We has to SLIGHTLY bend the front sway bar to keep the downpipe from hitting, and the tip rattles a bit.

Nothing so far on the redline. Had some headaches here and there but done this car how I've wanted.
My old car, regret quite a few things from when I first got into modding.
Neons which lasted a week before I took them off
Fart cans
Stickers
Buying an automatic
Not researching a car before I bought it
Paying to have my cai installed (and they fucked it up)
And sure some others. I learned a lot from first getting into modding and has definitely helped me when coming to modding the redline.

i regret:
-buying a front wheel drive car
-flowmaster 44 series muffler, corrected now
-gen 3 projectors, now blacked out stockers
-going through 3 different pulleys.
-not going catless on E, and ending up with a 3 cylinder mod :P

My only regret is buying a Scosche FM Modulator, I mean it sounds good and works perfectly. Just that I paid 32$ for it, and then I needed an antenna adapter which I bought separately and cost me 18$, total price for the AUX install cost me 50$. I could have gotten a new decent better-than-stock headunit with the AUX built in instead of the hassle and having the on/off switch everytime I plug in the iPhone.

I will add to this thread though.
exhaust isnt the greatest, and the 3 guage pillar I have is pretty gay. I had to jimmy rig it to make it fit right, and it doesnt look the same as the stock pillar. Its a glossy color plastic and my stock pillar is flat colored.
