Yea dont get me wrong I love the sound and all the poping! my gf says its obnoxious. But i drove from Ohio to NC last summer and that ruined it for me from all the drone inside the cabin...Im thinkin about getting the magnaflow exhaust and having a cutout welded to it for when I wanna hear that turbo whistle.

wonder if anyone regrets that same decision now that ******* BYT just pulled a Houdini.
I don't regret any mods, I think, think, think and think some more and research lots before doing any mods, even if it's as small as painting calipers.

Buying the Garrett alpha kit when it first came out. I had the second kit they sold and I should have been patient and built my own kit in the first place like I did on current motor/turbo build that I'm now parting out

As worth it as it is, i kinda regret ever touching my headlights. First off they are a pain in the ass to take out, my bumper is cracked on both inside corners where the headlights are. All of my hid kits have had issues. All of my headligts have fogged. Except the stock ones. If only they came black and with hid projectiles
Also i regret touching the exhaust. Again its worth it for the performance but ive always had problems with leaks. Maybe i just dont have that magic mechanic touch but... Idk what im doing wrong!

I dont think so. I did a boost leak test and it was good. It just didnt fit right and now my crash bar is sticking out about 3/4 in. ZZPs was a direct fit.
I swapped the yellow spring for the green spring today on my Forge and it seemed like the car was actually quicker...

BPV was probably leaking a little that is why it was not boosting properly but no negative fuel trims like an external leak would cause. Make sure you lube that forge from time to time and check all the Orings/seals on it peroidically. Send me another log when you get a chance so I can see if it is seeing more than 226 kPa like it was.
and 09blck.
Yeah I need to do that. I just regret not buying ZZPs is all. I love the unit, it looks amazing and keeps temps cool just wish it fit better without grinding the bar

ok mods i regret...
retros. i love them to death but been dealing with problems since day one with headlights. should have left them stock. problem is there's no going back once you got sexy lookin retros and that output its hard to go back. everything else... i can't say i regret anything really.

whoever had the car before me put a spec clutch on it (it broke) and hahn charge piping, which he then closed the hood on for a lovely reverse dent in the hood. those are the two mods that i didn't do that i regret the most.

Mods I regret on my SS/TC. Dejon SRI: Poor Fit (coupler inside a coupler as a reducer and PCV line had no barb and was in the wrong spot so did not reach). AEM CAI contant cold start compressor choke (surge) issues (this was before hp tuners gave the ability to disable cat warmup but this is not an issue with any other intake I have tuned on the SS/TC)
