My first Cobalt accident :(

Not serious. No other party involved, other then a big 300 lb rock

I was poping an illegal uturn durring my vacation and guess didnt have enough room and hit a rock on the side of the road. Got some bad scratches on the bottom right side of my bumber. Not really noticable unless you are looking right at it. In that hit I also cracked my radiator.... 600 bucks later I have a new radiator and was able to drive home from a different state. Ended up having to get a hotel up there an extra night. Wasnt a fun experience to say the least

Not gonna even bother with insurance as I dont want it to increase. Anyone know what a new bumber would cost? What about the bottom lip of the bumper, is that purchasable separately?

A new lower lip I was quoted $187 new from the dealer . That may have changed though , as it was about 6 months ago and I havent purchased it yet . I was quoted $660 total to respray the existing front bumper cover ....that included the new lower chin spoiler as well . I got the quote from the dealer .

That sucks, but atleast it wasn't real serious and you still have the car.
