My new car is here...

but I'm not going to buy it untill the new year. I dont want to pay property taxes on it right now, and I'm pretty sure I wouldnt be able to afford that. It only took 1 month from order in to delivered. I wish it was delived a lot later to be honest. It arrived last wedensday, but i dont have time to even go to up there to look at it because i'm so busy with finals.
All in good time....

wish me luck on my exam tomorrow...I need it b/c i havent had time to study yet...

St. Louis has to pay personal property taxes based on the value of the car. Not one time, but every year. And its always at the end of the year.

"Sorry kids, there won't be a christmas because daddy bought a new car and has to pay personal property taxes."

Don't mean highjack the post but I am queries.

If you have to pay property tax on the car, do you have to pay for tags and inspection every year as well? In Texas we have to pay the initial TTL and then every year after that you have to pay for new tags(average new car $70) and you have to get your cars emissions tested/inspected(average $40) in the bigger more populated county's and in the less populated areas you just have to have the safety equipment test(average $15).

Here in Ohio there is no property tax that has to be paid on vehicles either. Just have to renew your tags every year on your birthday unless it's a lease. Then you renew the tags when the lease company makes it every year.

After the first year ends then you can register every 2 years from then on
The catch is it cost twice as much just saves you the hassle of doing it once a year!

Should have said that in my last post!
