New Cobalt SS/SC

Hello everyone. I recently posted about thinking about getting a cobalt ss/sc. Well I have made my purchase. The SS includes the Perf. Package, Stage 2, and the GMPP exhaust. I just want to say, I LOVE this car. Coming from a '98 z24, I am amazed. I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts/ideas for what mods I should do with the car. For now, I am on a strict budget, because I obviously have to pay for the car. But I definitly want to do the airbox mod, because I want to hear the blower roar but i dont want CEL's. I was just wondering if there was any other mods anyone thinks would be good to do, aka boost bypass I saw and if I should run different spark plugs. I am assuming the stock ones are in it. Thanks a lot, any comments will be greatly appreciated.

You should have just gone with a Stage 1 but its all good...I would suggest a 2.8" pulley and 1 step colder plugs (copper) gapped at .040"

congrats on the purchase... you could always go with the pulley boys 2.8 for the stg II hub, and with the airbox mod I used the K&n e-1009 filter and got no cel, if you clean and reoil make sure you dry it out real good before putting it back in. you could go with a one step colder plug (c/a sells em) I"m personally runnin the ngk 7eix's at box gap and have no problems

a colder spark plug works wont hurt, ngk bkr7es, gapped at .40
an intake will give you some onies and make the charger scream, but they tend do change the a/f ratio at certain rpms, might wanna get a lil tune if your gonan go that route, thats what im doin, when the novelty wears off grab the 2.8 pulley from pulleyboyz that fits the gm hub,, b&m short throw is sweet too, the list really can go on, depends on you, i pretty much have all that plus more and im affraid i just cant stop!! lol

What kind of plugs are good to go with? NGK? If so.. what model number? Would I notice any difference in getting different plugs gapped at .040"? I bought the car with the stage 2 and exhaust. So I really didnt have a choice.

For the time being, I am probably just going to get a filter to do the mod, and maybe some plugs. I just was wondering if there was anything else anyone recommended. I thought I saw on here lots of people were running the NGK plugs. I was just wondering why really. Any performance increase or anything? As for the airbox mod.. I cant hear the blower at all right now really, thats the main reason I want it.

I threw a AEM Dryflow filter on there and cut the stock airbox off for increased air flow. My blower sounds like a bat out of hell right now. A Dremel tool is your best friend.
