i dont know where i should start but i have a 2006 cobalt ls. i know its not a ss but ls sint that bad. im looking foward to maybe getting some advise on what to do to my car. here are some pics of my car:

Welcome to the site and congrats on the Cobalt. There arplenty of threads to read up on. The search engine is sort of okay and is a good place to start as you make your way around. Also check out the 2.2 section under forums.

Welcome to the site! I would start off by lowering it, that is a must with rims....
Next is up to you....are you looking more for perfomance or looks??

welcome, should shave all those extra emblems. looks alot cleaner that way but nice rims :P

freakin sweet cobalt

i wnat to go more looks for now. perfomance late ron down the road. if i could find someone to cshave the emblems off i would consider it. i do plan on buying lack halo headlighst like hack abuse had. and maybe osme gaphics. i want them done buty if u guy shave any suggestions or could possibly help out with that, i would appreciate that. i would really like to get graphics on it so maybe i coul find a girl to ride in with me lol. i also bought windows louvers for the side windows as well. so if there anyone out that could elp with graphics, plz let me know

Browse the "how to" section, theres something in there about shaving your emblems, it is VERY easy to do...... I was kinda scared at first but after reading it, I tried it out and it was EASY! I also painted my headlight housings black, also pretty easy but requires abit of time to do a good job....and lots more "how to"s check it out.....

Welcome.. and for the record there is nothing wrong with LS.. its an awsome ride for the money.. congrats... and the 1st this I did was de-badge my car... everything but the cobaltSS on the back corner... looks way cleaner.... I so didn't like the bowtie on the back

welcome to the site. ur goin for looks. def lower the car. u got it with the black rims and tint. black halo projectors will look nice too. check out our vendor section. cobalt addiction is a local vendor to me and they def help us all out for mods. good luck with it.

where could i get a set of lowering spings for a good price? i dont to void my waranty but i might just have to . how far should i lower it? what else could be done to improve the look of my car? im going fo a show car look.

umm my buddy lowered his cobalt 2" in the back and 1.5" in the front. i personally would go with the eibach pro kit setup. i heard a lot of guys like them. cobalt addiction does sell them. only thing is yeah warranty wise. that is gonna void it if u have problems. only way to to be uninstall it and re put ur stockers back in. but like i said those havent had any problems. searh on the forums.

if there anyway to protect the bottom of acar from scarping the ground when it hits a bump?

oh from bottoming out. well thats only really gonna happen when u go up a crazy incline. like when i drove my camaro i would always take them on a 45 degree angle. yeah there is really no way.
