Hi,
Could not find a New member Introduction board, so..
I'm John, from deep south Texas, I have a 2006 Chevy Cobalt LS, white, 4 door, completely base.
I like to add mods, especially when they involve LED's, not a big fan of high performance, but a fan of getting great fuel economy.
I stumbled on this forum amongst others and want to join the cobalt club.

Welcome! There is a lot of info on here for both aesthetic and performance modifications. There is also some pretty good info on increasing fuel economy.

Well actually, I was referred here from a member of another cobalt forum.
I'm looking for an outlet induct since mine was broken by a moron mechanic.
I'm only posting this here because I cant post in classifieds, I guess I need more posts.
I'm really deep south in Texas, I'm a few miles from Mexico, that's how south I am

No, I live in Pharr.
I don't care if people know what city I'm in. I'm in Pharr, I live really close to Las Milpas. Really close to the border.
If you live where you say you do, you probably have seen my balt, its a white 4 door with black tinted windows all round and some MB rims.

yeah but i skip that road. I take Juan Balli then go on jackson if im going to mcallen or mission. If not I go on I rd/Veterans then get on expressway if im going to edinburg. Im like in the middle of dicker road and thomas road. By the carwash and subway lol

True that, Thomas Rd is so bad, when I go to Advanced Auto Parts I actually go all the way to Juan Balli to get in my neighborhood.

la quinta the one where the drive thru is at? Thats where my brother lives lol. I have k&n intake, gmpp catback, sportline lowering springs, ss/sc wheels, tint. pioneer radio, kenwood door speakers, kicker 6x9s, and kicker L5s with a kenwood 1800w powering them. oh and gen 1 headlights w/ 6k hids. I barely started modding my car with performance and stuff but I have a supercharger kit here at my house just waiting to be put on. I just needa buy hp tuners so I can get tuned when i put it on.

Yes, that street, but more towards Jackson Rd. You know about those canals, which make trips from Cage to Jackson impossible unless you take deadly Thomas or Juan Balli st , which is starting to get like Thomas Rd.
Never seen your balt, but I did see a nice Balt Coupe earlier today, it was parked behind where Rogers shop used to be, earlier tonight. Yellow and Black.
You replaced your stock intake, do you still have it? I need one.

I had it laying around but I couldnt find it right now. Thinking either my parents threw it away or I just suck at looking for things. Ill ask them tomorrow
Imma be selling my k&n intake after I go supercharged soon but idk if the 2.4 intakes work on the 2.2 which im assuming is what your car is

I'd be down depending on the day. We could maybe do a few runs also lol. Maroon cobalts look nice but I dont think ive seen yours around. I've seen the orange one and the black one with the red stripes thats not a ss but just has the ss emblems on the sides really high up with some black rims and a weird hood?

Nah but really, how much do you want for it, the junk yards want $40, so what deal can we make.
I have to go to Corpus today, spending the night, will be back tomorrow, maybe we can gather ourselves together and form a cobalt klan lol

$20 or $30 sounds cool, I will meet you in the middle, how $25 sound?
If you have any other stock parts I may be interested also as I have a few issues I'm dealing with.
Also I'm adding mods, so far I have added custom LED lights in the front foot area, they look cool and they are wired directly into the BCM so they dim out with the dome light, looks mint.
