first off the corvette, cobalt ss/sc, trailblazer ss/sc all come from the factory already broken in. that info is from my foremans and all of my journeyman mechanics. you can not properly break in a motor on synthetic due to its properties. regular motor oil has something in it. i can't remember exactly what, but it helps seat everything properly

engines come broken in from the factory
use the oil life guide that's built in with the car....it's there for a reason

if you oil life monitor hasn't gone off yet then you follow the 3 months 5,000km/3,000Mi rule
