noisy pedal/radio issues
my car has 22k miles and for a while now the gas pedal can get very annoying. when i push it down it does this creaking/clicking noise. i hold it steady and there isnt noise. as soon as i let off and the pedal moves again. it creaks and sounds like plastic rubbing.the dealer seems to think im bsing. ive brought it in before and they said they couldnt get it to do it. it does it almost everytime i drive but not always.any suggestions?
another thing is my radio makes some static/flickering noises. every couple seconds in a song u can hear it click and pop.very annoying! i thought it was my connection on my phone but i got a new iphone and i use the usb port and it still does it. i tried the aux input and it still makes the noise.any ideas?

Dtowngreg – did you try mrader88’s suggestion of driving without your cell phone in your car to see if that would get rid of the noise?
Thanks,

cell phone rofl like ur gonna leave it at home
i got the same pedal issue with my blutch pedal. i think (havent tried it) u just gotta lubricate behind the pedal, like maybe pull up the carpet a little or whatever and find the joint where it moves, ass some lubricant of some kind. i might try it soon ill let u know how it works if i do, and u vice versa?

have you tried leaving your phone at home and driving around the block?
the reason i say this is because its electrical interference not interference from the signal you get, so turning ur phone on airplane mode does nothing with the fact the phone is still on and operating, seriously, leave the phone at home, drive around the block and see if it still does the same thing. im willing to bet it does not make that noise any more.

well i just went and experimented a little. i plugged up my touchpad into the aux input and no noise. so i tried my iphone in the aux and no noise! i plugged the phone back into the usb drive and the static was back. seems like there is a problem with the usb port.im gonna have a hell of a time explaining this to the dealer. shouldnt be hard to understand but the old lady service writer i always get is clueless as ****
